Every member of the Supatrax Staffing Pool is expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, professional boundaries, and inclusive practice. Becoming a trustee at Supatrax offers a meaningful opportunity to help guide the charity’s vision, growth, and long-term impact. Trustees play a vital role in shaping strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting Supatrax’s mission to empower young people through creativity, skills development, and community engagement. The role requires commitment, sound independent judgement, and active participation in board meetings and decision-making. Supatrax welcomes trustees from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, particularly those with experience in finance, digital innovation, governance, youth work, or community development.

Supatrax Staffing Pool
Know Yourself Programme Facilitators & Mentors
From £13.50 per hour (based on experience)
Join Supatrax and help deliver our Know Yourself programme — an empowering youth initiative that supports young people to build confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and positive identity.
We are seeking passionate facilitators to lead workshops, creative activities, and group discussions, and mentors to provide one-to-one guidance, support, and encouragement to young people throughout the programme. Both roles focus on creating safe, inclusive, and inspiring spaces for personal growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitators:

Deliver high-quality Know Yourself sessions aligned with Supatrax values and safeguarding standards

Lead workshops, creative projects, group discussions, and reflective activities

Contribute to programme evaluation and share best practice
Mentors:
-
Provide one-to-one support and guidance to participants, helping them set goals and build resilience

Monitor wellbeing and progress, raising any safeguarding concerns promptly

Support engagement in programme activities and encourage positive decision-making
Both Roles:

Embed safeguarding, trauma-informed, and wellbeing principles in all delivery

Build strong, professional relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds

Work collaboratively with Supatrax staff and community partners
Person Specification
Essential:
-
Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice (or working towards it)

Enhanced DBS check
-
Knowledge of safeguarding, youth development, and trauma-informed practice

Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills
-
Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
Desirable:

Experience delivering youth work in disadvantaged or underrepresented communities

Relevant lived experience
-
Experience in creative, skills-based, or reflective youth programmes

Availability for evening sessions
